Categories and Tags: Two Ways to Organize

Two different organization systems exist here for two different jobs:

  • Category — one per post, editable under Settings → Snippets → Categories. This is the "what section is this in" answer — Economy, CMS Features, whatever subjects an organization actually writes about. Categories show up in the nav's Categories dropdown and each gets its own browsable page.
  • Tags — as many as fit, free-form, for the finer-grained "this post is also about X" cases that don't deserve their own whole category. A post about India's GDP might carry the category Economy and tags like base year, GDP, and MOSPI.

Both are real navigation, not just labels: clicking a category takes a reader to every live post in it, paginated the same way the main index is. This is also how the "you might also like" sidebar works — it looks for same-category siblings first, and only falls back to recent posts generally if a category is too thin to fill the row on its own.

Adding a new category or a brand-new tag needs no code change — an editor just picks a new tag while writing, or adds a category snippet from Settings, and it's immediately live as its own section of the site.
