RSS: Let Readers Subscribe Their Way

Not every reader wants to check back on a site or wait for a social post to notice something new went up. RSS (/blog/feed/) is the quiet, unglamorous answer to that: a standard, machine-readable list of the 20 most recent published posts, with title, intro, link, and publish date for each.

Two concrete things this unlocks without any extra integration work:

  • Feed readers — a reader using Feedly, NetNewsWire, or any other RSS reader can subscribe once and get every new post automatically, no algorithm deciding whether to show it to them.
  • Newsletter tools — many email newsletter platforms can pull straight from an RSS feed to auto-draft a digest email, which pairs naturally with the email capture form at the end of every post (see the SEO and growth post above) once there's a real send tool wired up to that list.

It's linked from every page's <head> for feed-reader auto-discovery, and from a plain "RSS" link in the footer — nothing to configure, and nothing that can silently break, since it's built on Django's own standard syndication framework rather than a bespoke feed generator.
