Making This Site Yours: Branding Without Touching Code

Everything about how this site presents itself lives in three admin Settings panels, not scattered across template files:

  • Brand — site name, tagline (also the default meta description), contact email, an optional logo image, and optional primary/secondary accent colors that override the built-in palette everywhere at once.
  • Navigation — the nav bar's links, each pointing to a page or an external URL, added/reordered/removed freely.
  • Social Media — one URL field per channel; leave one blank and its footer icon simply doesn't appear.

This is what makes the pitch on the for-organizations page actually true rather than aspirational marketing copy: relaunching CMS by TheDataShop.in for a different organization is a content-and-settings job, not a rewrite. Swap the name, drop in a logo, pick two colors, and the site reads as a different brand without a single template edit.

The one thing that's deliberately not in a settings panel is the color palette's starting point itself — the Mithila-inspired cream/indigo/sindoor system this site ships with. That's a design decision, not a configuration default; a new organization is free to override it entirely via the two accent-color fields above.
